I love this format. Amazing voice too! I feel like with the amount of music flooding into the world every day, these kinds of multimedia projects will be what rise to the top. Personally, I grow way more attached to music when I'm able to learn about the artist and how the songwriting process went down. Not to mention how I find myself more and more obsessed with humanness with AI on the way. Song Exploder, studio sessions, and projects like yours are where it is at.
I hope we can create a songwriting community here on substack (or that I can find it if it already exists). I have a desire to both write and consume well-thought out and deeply human music/writing projects.

Yeah, I am very much in the midst of finding my musical style so I wrote a post about how I've been approaching that process and I put some audio clips in there. It's always nice to be able to go back and listen to old songs, but it feels extra grounding to know I'll always have my thoughts from the time period immortalized as well.
Songwriting is emotionally tricky, I've spent a while trying to be various things that I'm not. So now I'm focusing on getting out of my own way and letting myself be myself in music and in life.
I continue to be awed by your talent!!! Not just your voice but also the beautiful way that you view and describe the world. Forever proud of you my friend 💛
