Digital gallery
A place to hang art on the wall
Tinier Desk is my home to share art in progress. This room is my digital gallery, a place to hang art on the wall. I know no one asked for this, but here I am anyways. Maybe, just maybe, something in here will help you find a way forward, if even just a step, in the same way it’s helped me find momentum and meaning.
Art is mamking something no one asked for—not because they didn't need it but because they doidn't know they needed it until you made it, unitl it helped them breath and dream and find a way forwarad. — A wise mom on the interent
I update this post on a rolling basis with new collages and poems (last updated November 9, 2024).

DUCK DUCK O’CLOCK| OCTOBER 2024
Nightcap
Bartender, bartender, pour me a memory
With a twist,
a kiss,
and something to reminisce.
Last call rings like a long-lost friend—
One more chance,
poured strong,
with love and luck on the rocks.
They say nothing good happens after midnight,
with eyes shut.
Mine are open,
hazed,
witness to a new day.
Bartender, bartender, am I already home?
LADIES WHO NIGHT CAP | OCTOBER 2024
Saturday Night
Right now…
Someone is buying a bottle of wine so that they can get laid
Someone is asking a friend to take a picture that they will ultimately frame
Someone is having a french fry as their first meal of the day
Someone is walking on broken glass
Someone is picking up the check and itching to say “I love you” for the first time
Someone is on a bike when they shouldn’t be
Someone said no to a party that they should’ve said yes to
Someone put their closed sign up early, and all they want, desperately, is for anyone to come in
Someone is eating an ice cream cone with sprinkles, biting instead of licking
Someone is wishing for something that’s right in front of them
Someone is asleep fighting a cold on the surface, demons deeper
Someone is walking on stage fully masked as a character they didn’t know they could become
Someone is looking at the clock already turned to Sunday, moving on

This hits hard!❤️🔥
Brilliant, Katie!
